.Redang.

i just got back from redang and it was just AWESOME!!!

eventhough the bus ride wasnt that comfortable it was worth the fun!we started travelling on sunday evening to putra to catch a bus to kuala terengganu.then a ferry ride to redang..it was about 18 hours journey from the time i left my place.yes that long...hahaha

AND you should see the beach!!its sooooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful and the water is soooooooooooooooooo clean,you can see the sea floor from the surface of the water!!(of course i dun mean the deep part la.....

DAY 1:

we reached about 11am.then checked-in into our 2 semi-D bangalow.2 toilets for 13 teenagers!!(imagine how long we had to wait for one another)and i think we were the largest group there..the second largest was like 6 - 7 people...hahahahahah....by 12pm all of us were playing in the sea.then snorkeling at 3pm.the funny thing was we had to swim to the boat which will then take us to the snorkeling site!!dun ask me why but i just find it so funny..this snorkeling was ok ok only la nothing very fantastic to see but still had fun in the open sea though.almost got leg cramp somemore.

after snorkeling we got back and got ready for dinner..after dinner we hang out in the so-called bar in our hotel.seriously the only ppl which sings at the karaoke are ppl who cannot sing in tune and still sings extremely loud..

DAY 2 :

breakfast was at 7.30am to 9.30 am.guess what,i think all of us only woke up at 9.40am only(i woke up at 10am only)...hahahaha...so we had maggie mee and a ramly burger which cost RM6 for special and RM10 for double special burger..yea!hahahahaha..

this time snorkeling was at a marine HQ.oh my gosh....it was so nice!!!!you can see so many kinds of corals and i saw a sapphire blue coral and all sort of fishes.we were given bread to feed the fishes and feeding them is scary.eventhough they were small but the come straight the the bread as if they we gonna bite your fingers of too.hahahaha..were we there about 1hour then we left and when back to the hotel.

after dinner we planned to surprise ian for his birthday and so we did it...and it was great.after that we all decided to walk along the beach to the other hotels(about 1km walk..hahahaha...) under the night sky...then it suddenly started raining heavily!!hahahha...so funny...but still so fun!!

DAY 3:

sadly we had to check out at 10.30am(before we were there,they said the last ferry out was at 4.30 pm only now they say the last boat out of redang is 11.15am...seriously soooooo cut!!) and our bus ride home was at 10.30 pm only..yea 12 hours to killed.as usual the ferry came late!so we left redang at 12 something and reach kuala terengganu(kt) at 2.30pm and had lunch in some road site stall in china town(their china town is like a normal town expect you see more chinese around only...hahaha.And thank god Jo had a friend in KT so we could leave our luggages there..and guess how we killed time...we ALL,including Jo's friend when to cc and some of us played counter strike and some dota..before we knew it was dinner time!!!hahahahahahahaha...the only reason we when cc was coz there is NOHING to see in KT k...i repeat,NOTHING...really one....hey,but cc was fun k...all of us had fun...Jo's friend's parents were so nice,they took 13 of us for dinner in a chinese restaurant and then fetch us all t o the bus station somemore..they had to take 3 trips to fetch all of us...

by 10.30pm we left KT back home..by the time i got home ,i counted it was a 22hours journey home...yes 22 hours!!!!

.4 generations.

On the 2nd June 2008 i finally had a family gathering(mummy's side)and almost everyone was there.i havent had this kind of family gathering since like 9-10 years ago(yes that long ago).the reason we had this gathering was he celebrate my 3 years old nephew's birthday.he is living in australia and came to malaysia and singapore for a 2weeks holiday.walking into the home where we use to gather,brought back so much memories to me,even to the smallest details.I could still remember it so clearly the joy and the fun i use to have with my cousins before and after dinner,the exact places i climbed and jump down just for the fun of it(and of course with no one looking),the chair which i use to sleep on,playing in the kitchen area which involves flour,salt and pepper,my normal spot on the dining table and especially running straight in my granddad's arms and hugging him so tightly.All these are still so fresh in my memories.it seems like it was just yesterday all this had happen.

so much have changed since then.Like everything in the house dont seem as big and as high as it use to be(maybe coz i was smaller then,so everything seems huge to me..hahaha..),i wasnt being chased and bullied by my cousins anymore(i was sort of the youngest), also,this is the first time that my aunty which was the one cooking dinner for the family(the last time it was my grandmum) and also, there were 3 additional groups of people present!!Firstly ,there were the in-laws as some of my cousins are already married.Secondly,ian and one of my cousin's girlfriend was also there.Lastly,there was the 4th generation,my cousins' children(there are 3 of them but only 2 came,coz the youngest is still a baby).there are so adorable.now,they are the ones making the noise and the mess in the house,not me and my cousins..hahaha.actually i wasnt aware that 4 generations of the Tan family was present until like half way through dinner only.haha..i kept on thinking the were one 3 generation of the Tan family was present.

And during dinner,as i watching my 2 little nephews play,i suddenly realized that the 'little car' that one of my nephew was sitting in was actually my toy when i was younger..it was my toy!!!i repeat,MY TOY!! and its still in good condition until today(thats like more then 12 years ago)hahaha..Just to see my nephew having so much fun with it,just couldnt make me stop smiling to myself

u know,this is one of my most amazing nights i had.i really which i could put it into words how i actually felt but its too great till no words could describe the way i feel about my this precious moment!
